"People [who write novels] just be so wordy." -Kanye West

Kanye West has proven himself multiple times throughout his career that he isn't the best role model. Although I can see certain parts of what he explained to be particially true; people shouldn't take his advice! Books can take away certain qualities in your social experiences in life, but the reader is the one who should make that decison. If you have to much of anything in your life it will take over yours.
For example, someone who does read way to much might be very intelligent, but most of the time that's all there known as in real life. Reading is something you need to properly limit yourself with; just like anything else. Too much of a good thing can be bad. Lots of people across the world would still be antisocial if there wasnt books, for the fact that everyone is on the internet! There will always be something that will take people off there path whether its good or bad.
People like Kanye West, however have to much social time on there hands. By looking at the sentences quoted from him in the article, it looks as if he should start to read. The way he talks projects his image of a low life and others that look up to him feel like that are smart, when they're the ones that sound ignorant. He also doesn't seem like he can really back up that he doesnt read considering he wrote a book. In order to write, you also need to know how to read; unless of course thats how bad the book really is.
To be perfectly honest, in my opinion you shouldn't listen to someone who is a bookworm, or someone that is like Kanye. You will never get an accurate answer.
